Today, while my friend and I were in the States doing some shopping, we ended up talking to one of the cashiers about us being Canadian. My friend, just to see his reaction said, “We’re so Canadian, even our blood cells are red and white.”. The cashier’s response? He laughed at us and said “Yeah right”. MLIA.

Last week, my three year old daughter asked if she could send a letter to god asking why sparky, our 12 year old dog had to go to heaven. Later that day, she mailed that letter… . . Two days later, we received a letter from an anonymous person saying that Sparky is fine and not to worry and that he will always be with us in memory. People like that GMH

I can’t really remember what I did. They were all little things, not all that far from what I would normally do.
I really want to do something awesome, like Willingdon’s AWOL night, go downtown and buy a meal for someone, listen to their story, but it’s hard to get the chance to.

One Sunny Afternoon
On my way to TKD, I saw this old couple around 60 or 70 ish. The woman had this tube on her, which was connected to a medium sized metal tank. It had a handle and wheels, and the man was rolling it along for her. They were just walking down the sidewalk, holding hands, looking pretty happy to be out in the sun.
I don’t know, just the stark contrast between the metal tank with the plastic...
